It’s the evening, and Cody, dressed to impress, spots Tracy alone at a table at the Metro Court pool. She’s there enjoying a child-free evening and asks what he’s dressed for. Cody reveals he has a date.
Will Cody Listen to Tracy’s Advice?
When Tracy learns it’s with Ava, she warns him that the thug will end up shooting him, running him over with her car, or blowing him up. Tracy doesn’t know why he can’t fall in love with someone else. Cody blurts out, “This isn’t about love, I’m doing it for the money.” She asks in a horrified tone if Ava is paying him to have sex with her, but Cody says someone else is paying him to distract Ava.
Tracy disapproves, offers to help him if he needs money, and insists he’s better than this. Tracy says he has to get over this low opinion he has of himself; he’s a good man and shouldn’t sell himself so cheaply.
Tracy lets him know if he’s in trouble, then she’ll help him, but he insists he’s not. Relieved, Tracy decides to head home, noting it’s late and the rugrats should all finally be in bed. She tells Cody he doesn’t have to do this. She respects him and hopes he learns to respect himself.

Ava Dishes On Her New Guy to Nina
Down in the bar, Ava meets with Nina, who needs to talk to a friend. However, she can see that Ava is dressed for plans. Ava explains she pushed them back for her when she called. Nina assumes she has a date with Ric. Ava notes that she dumped Ric, but he doesn’t know it yet. She complains that Ric was always preoccupied with Liz.
Nina asks Ava who the new man is and is shocked to learn it’s Cody. Ava states that Cody is nice to be around, and he seems to appreciate her, which is nice after guys like Nikolas and Ric. Nina just wants her friend to be careful. Ava says they’re just having a little fun, and she can handle Cody Bell. (So why has Josh Kelly been taken off contract? Here it is, straight from Cody’s portrayer himself.)

Brennan Comes Clean With Carly, Sort Of
In the alcove, Brennan tells Carly he hasn’t been honest with her about his assignment here in Port Charles. He is here because there is a threat in Port Charles, one with worldwide implications. He’s telling her because he may have to disappear on her, and he doesn’t know for how long. Carly’s relieved, as she thought he was going to tell her that he had a wife and kids stashed somewhere.
Carly understands that he can’t tell her more, that there is a need for secrecy with his work, and she trusts him. He calls her the most amazing woman he’s ever met. Carly promises that as long as he’s honest about what he can say, she isn’t going anywhere.

Will Alexis Go Through With Her Plan?
Alexis finds Molly at the café working on her novel, though Molly claims she’s researching a case. Alexis reveals Drew is moving with Scout to DC. She explains that she went to Monica to see if she could convince him not to move, but in the meantime, she thinks they need to research cases to support a grandparent taking custody of a minor.
Molly isn’t so sure this is the best move, but Alexis feels Scout needs family, she needs connections, and Sam would not be okay with what Drew is doing. Drew is a worse father than viewers realized, as Alexis rants that he never attends Scout’s extra-curricular activities, and she spends most of her time alone in her room.
Molly cautions that her mom’s chances of winning custody are slim to none, and this could cause Drew to keep them from seeing Scout altogether. Even worse, he could turn her against them.

Laura Plays Peacemaker
In Laura’s office, when Dante threatens to arrest Obrecht right now, Laura asks him to take a walk and cool down, so he leaves. Laura tells Obrecht it’s clear she can’t put Rocco’s needs ahead of her own.
Obrecht says she and Rocco have bonded, which Lulu scoffs at, and the doctor notes he will be hurt if she pulls away suddenly. She also throws in Lulu’s face that she hasn’t been a mother to Rocco for years. Aside from not being there for him because of the coma, the first thing she did when she woke up was to abandon him to find his sister. Laura lashes back, “How dare you imply my daughter hasn’t been a good mother!”
Laura understands Obrecht is craving a connection to Rocco, as a means to connect with Britt. If she wants to be a part of the boy’s life, then she has to prove she will put his needs ahead of her grief, and that she must be respectful of his parents.
Dante returns, and Laura says this didn’t need to devolve like it did, and they owe it to Rocco to find common ground. Obrecht admits she shouldn’t have said what she did to Lulu. She knows Rocco is lucky to have a loving family like them, and she is OK with having them present the next time they talk. Lulu snaps, “Fine!”
Obrecht departs, and Lulu admits she lost it when Obrecht called herself Rocco’s grandmother. Laura believes in her own way, Obrecht cares about Rocco.
Anna Tells Jason Almost Everything
At the Quartermaine mansion, Anna suggests to Jason that disappearing may not have been Britt’s choice, and that she’s learned the resort Britt is at is under scrutiny by the WSB. Anna tells Jason Brennan believes the Five Poppies is a front and that something dangerous is going on. Anna poses the question: Is Britt there of her own free will, or has she been coerced?
Jason asks if this could involve Faison. Anna says he’s dead, but his work lives on, and Britt once helped him with it. Jason inquires about the WSB’s perspective on what is happening in this lab. She doesn’t know, but Faison was interested in weaponized tech that could destabilize countries.
Jason thanks her and promises not to tell anyone what she confided in him.
A Near Miss By the Newlyweds
At the Five Poppies, Joss and Vaughn arrive as Pascal talks to Britt, whose back it to the agents. Vaughn asks Pascal if this is where they check in. Britt tells Pascal, “I better get back to work,” and rushes off. Pascal then welcomes the “newlywed couple” to the resort. He checks them in and then gives them a tour of the grounds.
Pascal eventually shows them to their room, where they put on a lovey-dovey performance until he leaves. They quickly get to work scanning the room for bugs. Once the room is clean, they share some champagne and go over a map of the grounds. They mark where they saw the cameras were, and where the off-limit villas are.
Joss says the staff is probably used to newlyweds looking for secret, secluded spaces to have a little fun. Vaughn notes they have to be convincing and takes his shirt off. Joss’s eyes almost bug out of her head as she stares at his chest. As Mary Poppins would say, “Close your mouth, Joss, we aren’t a codfish!”
In the Show’s Final Moments
At the café, Alexis is still going to write up a petition for custody of Scout as a last resort. She then notices the books on horses on the table and asks what Molly’s case is about. Molly insists it’s nothing that will likely make it past discovery.
At pool, Ava finally arrives, and hopes she and Cody can still have dinner. He makes excuses that one of the horses had a procedure recently, and he needs to check on it. Ava hopes they can do it another time, and they kiss. They agree to text.
In Laura’s office, Lulu and Dante aren’t sure they can keep their hate for Obrecht in check. Luara says they must try, and they need to make Rocco know he can confide in his parents. Laura says she’ll keep an eye on Obrecht, as they can’t trust her completely.
In the Metro Court bar, Obrecht fills Nina in on the agreement she made with Rocco’s parents. She says Rocco will come to her again, and she ominously notes she’ll respond in the way Britta would want her to.
Nearby, Brennan tells Carly that he’s happy with whatever time he gets with her. She believes they have all the time in the world, and they kiss.
At the resort, Joss changes into a Disney princess pink nightgown, and Vaughn is in his skivvies. Vaughn suggests he could sleep on the floor. She thanks him for asking, but tells him not to be ridiculous. They hop in and giggle as they say, “Goodnight, Mr. Nash! Goodnight, Mrs. Nash!”
At the Q’s, Jason will go to Dalmatia and promises to protect Anna. She confesses that she told him because she trusts him. She tells him to take care and good luck.
Back at the Five Poppies, a panicked Britt finds Pascal and says her medication is gone, and she can’t miss a single dose. Pascal says it’s in the lab, where “he” expects her to work and produce results on time, or her medication could be withheld completely. Pascal then gets a call from Jason to book the room. (That type of threat doesn’t seem like Faison, so is this Victor’s doing?)
On the next General Hospital, Drew panics when he gets a call that Scout is missing, and Willow lashes out at Lucas.
