Carly Gifted a Wrench

In GH’s June 16 episode, fans saw Carly thank Brennan for all of his help with a wrench inscribed with the words TO A JACK OF ALL TRADES–jack, Jack, get it?

Brennan has done a lot to help Carly in the short time they’ve known each other, one of those times being to fix the water in Carly’s kitchen. At that time he said that his dad was a plumber.

So the wrench might have seemed an odd thank you gift, but between them it made perfect sense.
And because of its personal significance, Brennan told her it may be the most thoughtful gift he’s ever received.

Carly and Brennan Get Closer

Let’s face it, a heavy wrench like the one Carly gave Brennan could also be used as a weapon. That wasn’t Carly’s intended use, but when we factor in that we’re watching a soap opera, the sudden appearance of a wrench has us asking “the butler, with the wrench, in the foyer?”

Sure, it was a sweet couple scene but soaps don’t waste time on idle moments and all soap fans worth their salt know that. Which is why social media is buzzing with spec that Carly’s wrench becomes a fatal weapon at some point.

Carly Gives the Gift That Keeps on Giving

Fans are conjecturing that Jack’s wrench could be used to kill someone and then placed to frame him, or he himself uses the wrench in an impossible situation.

Based on the amount of airtime given to the plumber’s tool, we predict that it will come up again at some point, with dangerous consequences. Can you imagine someone using the wrench AND the Cassadine knife all at once to do something dastardly?
