Gia Giudice Calls Critics ‘Insecure’ and ‘Jealous’ of Relationship With Mom Teresa

During Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, viewers watched Gia Giudice jump into the drama. She accused John Fuda of bringing up her name in a negative light. And she gave her mom, Teresa Giudice, pep-talks about the big Margaret Josephs dud reveal. For some of the RHONJ cast, Gia was a bit too involved in the drama. Now Gia is calling out Teresa’s co-stars and accusing them of being envious of the way that she backs up her mother.

Gia Giudice has always defended her mom, Teresa Giudice, on RHONJ

After all, Teresa’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, thought that Gia’s involvement in the RHONJ drama was “f*cking weird.” And it wasn’t lost on Teresa that some of her co-stars weren’t wild about Gia’s participation. “Some people get jealous on the show that she’s around, some of my cast members, and it’s like, who cares?” Teresa previously stated.

Well, Gia was a guest on Turning the Tables with Teresa Giudice. Shocking, I know. Next, the gardener will be a guest. Anyway, 23-year-old Gia discussed the RHONJ cast’s comments about her being a child. “I think [people] just refer to me as that because they still picture me as like the 8-year-old that was like on the Real Housewives in New Jersey. Obviously that’s not the case,” Gia said. “I’ve now graduated from college, I’m two years out of college. I’m working. I’m very much an adult.” She added, “But the people who also say that about me are just, they’re very insecure and jealous. And they’re jealous because they don’t have somebody like me on their on their side.”

Next, Gia addressed how she defends her mom on the show. “They’re probably jealous of our relationship and how I have your back,” Gia told Teresa, “and how I shut people down. Because I’m very quick and smart with my words and I know what to say in situations.” HAHAHAHAHA. Okay, then. She also noted that some of the cast brought up her name, and she just responded.

“I’ve always voiced my opinion, and I’ve always had my mother‘s back. I will always defend my mother. If you don’t like it, then you should tell your kid to come on and stick up for you too,” Gia stated. “They just get weird because I’m very good with my words. I don’t play,” she added.
