Fans of the New York Giants have been through a tumultuous offseason. There were many questions heading into 2024 about this team. However, Giants fans took a blow when it was revealed RB Saquon Barkley was headed to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Following that signing, the Eagles were accused of tampering to acquire Barkley. Now, the NFL has made a ruling on this. It is safe to say Giants fans are not happy about it. Read below to find out more.

This morning, Gridiron Heroics’ own Jordan Sigler broke the news that the NFL did not discover sufficient evidence supporting the idea that the Philadelphia Eagles violated the anti-tampering policy to sign free agent Saquon Barkley. As a result, the Eagles nor anybody in their organization will face penalties regarding this matter.

Atlanta Falcons Violated Anti-Tampering Policy

If that was not enough, the NFL made another ruling shortly following this to the dismay of Giants fans. This ruling involved the Atlanta Falcons. They were also accused of tampering to sign veteran QB Kirk Cousins.

Well, unlike the Eagles’ ruling, the NFL did find that the Falcons violated the anti-tampering policy to acquire Cousins. As covered by Gridiron Heroics’ own Daniel Arwas, the Falcons will forfeit a fifth-round draft pick in 2025. Along with this, the team will be fined $250,000 and Falcons GM Terry Fontenot will be fined $50,000.

New York Giants Fans Furious at Rulings

New York Giants
New York Giants fans boo the team in the second half. The Seattle Seahawks defeat the Giants, 24-3, at MetLife Stadium on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, in East Rutherford.

To no one’s surprise, New York Giants fans are furious following these two rulings. This comes after losing arguably the face of their franchise to their division rivals. In perhaps an emotional response, Giants fans had some wild accusations towards the NFL. Here are some of the most notable ones:

“Howie Roseman runs the NFL”

“EAGLES GOT AWAY WITH IT”

“Eagles beat the Barkley allegations.”

???? His daughter literally said On live video and I quote “You been told me we was moving to Philly” His college coach literally told on him why would a coach go out his way to lie. BAN SAQUON and take two draft picks”

“The Giants would’ve been docked 5 firsts and Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll would’ve been sent to Riker’s immediately if the roles were reversed. NFL gotta keep deep throating Howie Roseman and the Eagles, I guess”
