Mistakes are inevitable, but Gina Kirschenheiter knows they don't have to define a person.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom issued the reminder via TikTok on Tuesday (January 14) as she reached a major milestone in her sobriety journey. The video — taken during a 2024 girls’ trip — showed Gina in a tropical setting as she twirled in a red dress and blew a kiss to the camera.
Gina shares a message of self-love: "I know who I am"
Gina didn’t speak in the video but included an inspirational snippet from Zoe Saldana’s 2016 Hustle & Deal Flow magazine interview.
“I know who I am. I love who I am,” the actress was heard saying. “I like what I do and I like how I do it. And I like my mistakes and I like the way I learn and I like the pace with which I learn from my mistakes.”
Gina captioned the post with the following hashtags: “I know who I am,” “I love who I am,” “personal growth,” and “love yourself.”
Gina has big plans for 2025: "Who's coming with me?"
The life update came just several weeks after Gina reflected on her “transformative” 2024. She posted a heartwarming montage of the past year’s highlights, including date nights with her longtime boyfriend, Travis Mullen; family outings with her and Travis’ respective kids; and several wins in her burgeoning real estate career.
“2024 was truly a transformative year for me,” she wrote in the December 26 Reel before revealing her plans for the new year. “Going into 2025 with more direction, passion and drive than I’ve ever had before. Who’s coming with me?”
Gina also broke down some of the biggest lessons she learned over the past 12 months: “Life is for living. Consistency will make you win. Time heals.”
Gina reflects on her years-long sobriety journey
Days after the 2024 lookback, Gina returned to Instagram to celebrate three years of living alcohol-free. The mother of three shared a series of before-and-after photos to illustrate how sobriety changed her physical appearance and overall wellbeing.
“January marks three 3 years for me not drinking,” she wrote in the December 29 post. “People are always asking what I did to look so good. I don’t talk about it much but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Here’s something for anyone who’s ‘sober curious.’ 2025 seems like a great time to effect positive change.”
“If you’re thinking about it…do it,” she captioned the Reel. “[It’s amazing] on this side.”
