Mia Thornton gave Real Housewives of Potomac fans a clue about her intentions during the Season 9 reunion. She dipped out early and also hinted about moving to Atlanta. So, her announcement that she was departing RHOP after four messy seasons wasn’t a real jaw-dropper. So, what did her co-star, Gizelle Bryant, think of Mia’s decision to leave?
Gizelle Bryant brands former RHOP star Mia Thornton a liar
Recently, Gizelle spoke to Decider and gave her two cents about Mia. In the video clip, an interviewer asked, “Mia Thornton announced yesterday that she would not be returning to The Real Housewives of Potomac next season. What was your reaction?”
Gizelle kept her response shady as always. “I was not shocked. There was no shocker there,” Gizelle stated. “I think, yeah. Her … her time of lying was over. Yeah.”
Mia came under fire this season for statements that she made about her divorce from Gordon Thornton. During the girls’ trip to Panama, Mia revealed that Gordon had taken the children, and she didn’t know where they were. Once she discovered that they were with her former nanny, Mia made a questionable decision. Her RHOP co-stars took issue with Mia’s plan to go to Atlanta after leaving Panama to see her boyfriend, Inc.
Of course, Gizelle and Mia butted heads several times this season. Mia insinuated that Gizelle’s daughters were running wild, and Gizelle called Mia “a terrible mother.” The RHOP cast also called out Mia for allowing her son’s paternity to be questioned on reality TV.
As for Gizelle, she embarked on a journey to find love in the Love Hotel with four other Bravo bachelorettes. This is Bravo’s first dating experiment, and I am here for every romantic and messy moment. It’s about time that Gizelle found a nice man to enjoy her life with.
The Real Housewives of Potomac is streaming on Peacock. Bravo’s Love Hotel premieres April 27 on Bravo.
