Going Streaking Against Specific Opponents

Losing isn’t common in Vegas Golden Knights history. Losing to the same team four consecutive times is nearly unheard of.

Last night, the loss to the Carolina Hurricanes marked the fourth straight time VGK have fallen at the hands of one of the Eastern Conference’s best teams. Amazingly, this is just the ninth time in team history they’ve lost to the same opponent four times in a row.

Contrast that to 31 times they’ve defeated specific opponents four consecutive times and 13 times they’ve downed a team at least five straight.

Carolina is the only team the Golden Knights currently have a four game losing streak against. They have three game losing streaks against Florida, Nashville, and Tampa Bay.

Meanwhile, here are VGK’s current winning streaks of three or more against five different teams including four games against Anaheim and Minnesota, seven games against San Jose, and a whopping nine against Winnipeg including the 2023 playoffs.
