Now that Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner is officially divorced, is he ready to date again? TMZ caught up with Gerry to ask him all about his dating life post-divorce.
Gerry Turner told the news outlet that he’s not ready to jump back into dating so soon after his divorce from Theresa Nist. However, it seems his divorcee status has not deterred many ladies from wanting to date him.
He revealed that women are sending him direct messages on social media. Plus many are taking the traditional approach and walking up to him in public places. When they approach him many will give him their phone number.
He says he is flattered and does accept the numbers but so far he has not reached out to anyone. Gerry also said he is very cautious when a woman makes the move to approach him first. However, he does like their boldness.
What He’s Looking For
Gerry Turner also shared what he is looking for once he does decide to get back in the saddle. He wants a woman who loves being on the move, having adventures, traveling, and will be his best friend.
Another important thing he is looking for is to find someone who lives in Indiana. Having someone live close by eliminates the issues that can arise from a long-distance relationship which is what many believe happened to him and Theresa.
Gerry also shared that he does not plan on looking for love on dating apps or anywhere online. He wants to meet someone the old-fashioned way.
