Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel finished third in Lady Byng Trophy voting, the highest finish of his career.
Just 10 days ago, it was revealed that Eichel finished fifth in Selke Trophy voting, that too being the highest finish of his career.
The Professional Hockey Writers Association voted for the "player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability." The voters chose their top five players.
Eichel set a career-high in points with 94 this season while adding 28 goals and just eight penalty minutes. The 28-year-old received 34 first-place votes, 26 second-place votes, 28 third-place votes, 36 fourth-place votes and 12 fifth-place votes en route to a third-place finish.
Finishing ahead of Eichel were Los Angeles Kings' Anze Kopitar and Tampa Bay Lightning's Brayden Point. Kopitar received 50 first-place votes and Point received just 27, but because of the point system (10-7-5-3-1), Point received 43 second-place votes, which helped him edge out an 11-point lead (793-782).

Eichel wasn't the only Golden Knights player to receive votes for the Lady Byng Trophy. William Karlsson finished tied for 28th after locking down a third-place vote and a fifth-place vote, good enough for six points. Brandon Saad also received one fifth-place vote.
Eichel wasn't announced as a finalist for the Hart Trophy, which will be announced tonight, but he could finish inside the top 10 for the second time in his career, the first coming with the Buffalo Sabres in 2019-20 when he finished eighth.
