The Vegas Golden Knights have placed Tanner Laczynski and Jonas Rondbjerg on waivers.
Additionally to Zach Aston-Reese, the Golden Knights will be hoping Laczynski and Rondbjerg clear waivers to provide scoring for the Henderson Silver Knights and be available call-up options for if or when they deal with injuries.
Laczynski was one of the most impressive Golden Knights players during pre-season. He appeared in five games, scoring two goals and three assists. The 27-year-old signed a two-year, two-way deal with the Golden Knights in the offseason after he had 17 goals and 27 assists in 49 regular season games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms the year prior.
The Golden Knights selected Rondbjerg in the third round of the 2017 NHL draft but he's yet to carve out a role with the Golden Knights. He's played with the Silver Knights since the 2020-21 season and has recorded 63 NHL games in those four years. He's also struggled to produce in the NHL registering just three goals and 10 points.
The trio of forwards being placed on waivers indicates that Brendan Brisson and Tanner Pearson have made the Golden Knights out of camp and one or both, depending on the health of William Karlsson, could appear on the opening night roster.
