Gretchen Rossi Returns to RHOC After 12 Years — And She’s Bringing the Self-Care

Gretchen Rossi is returning to “Real Housewives of Orange County” for season 19 as a “friend” of the show.

To face the ladies this time around, Rossi is preparing by focusing on her health. She recently shared some details about how she is getting her well-being “back” via an Instagram Story. Here’s what she had to say about making time for her health.

Gretchen Rossi’s Mental and Physical Wellness Journey

Earlier this year, Rossi declared that she wanted a “happy and healthy 2025.” And now, she’s sharing the steps she is taking to achieve that goal. In a story set to the song “Heal” by MYRNE & Shallou, Rossi shared photos of her self-care via an infrared sauna in her home from Suncare Saunas.

In the Instagram story she wrote, “making time for my health” before sharing a spiritual message.

“When something is taken away, it’s either to make room for something greater or to free you from what was never meant for you,” the story read. “Trust God in the pruning, and trust even more in the transformation.”

Becoming Her Own Health Advocate

In January, Rossi told her Instagram followers that she embarked on a “health journey” last year. She explained that she “really had to dig deep to find out what was going on” with her body.

 “I was inflamed, in pain, and did every test that was out there to figure out what was going on, to only run into no answers,” the mom of one shared.

After starting to do her own research, Rossi says that she became her own health advocate. She changed a lot of things in her daily life to help get her health back. The 46-year-old explained that a lot of little things made a big difference. That’s why she is sharing, little by little, all of the things that she did.

Bravo recently dropped the trailer for season 19 of “Real Housewives of Orange County.” Rossi starred on the series from seasons 4 to 8. After a 12-year absence from the show, Rossi made her presence known. 

“Make it make sense! Why?” Rossi screams at Heather Dubrow during one of the trailer’s scenes.

“12 years you’ve been going after me!” Tamra Judge yells at Rossi. “It’s not the same thing,” Rossi fires back. This seems to be a hint that Jude and Rossi’ friendship drama will be addressed in the upcoming season.

Emily Simpson escalates things by claiming that Rossi is spreading a nasty rumor about Judge. Simpson tells Judge, “Gretchen said that you had an affair.” Judge tries to defend herself by accusing someone of “lying.”

Elsewhere in the trailer, the ladies are hooked up to a polygraph machine and Shannon Beador declares “there’s a snake in the group.” Then, Judge chimes in that “no one likes a liar.”

Season 19 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” premieres Thursday, July 10 on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
