Keeping it real.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Hannah Brown as the Season 15 Bachelorette.
Since her time on the show, she has found love off-screen with fiancé Adam Woolard and the two are planning their wedding for later this year.
Hannah is currently on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” bartending and helping our cast find love.
But she also stopped by the “Day in the Life” podcast, where she opened up about her “Bachelorette” journey.
The host Paige Port asked Hannah what her biggest “Bachelorette” regret was and Hannah got candid with her answer.
She said, “My biggest regret is wearing my hair in a big bun on the top of my head when I had my most iconic moment on that show. That was not my best look and it just continues to haunt me every day of my life, but it’s okay!”
In case you don’t remember what Hannah is talking about, she’s referencing her updo she wore when moving the podium away from Luke Parker during the Rose Ceremony.
ABC
She may regret the hairdo, but she doesn’t regret her decision to send Luke home!
On the podcast, Hannah also opened up about her mental health journey and how her time on the show led her to finding therapy.
She said, “I grew up in Deep South Alabama and my personal experience was that I didn’t know anyone who worked on their mental health, talked about their mental health. I definitely had some past trauma. We throw around this word trauma, but a lot of us have had experiences that have been really harmful for us. It was after the show that I was like, ‘Oh, it didn’t end the best for me.’”
Hannah went on, sharing, “I realized that I need some help on how to navigate this. Therapy was so big for me because that was the first person that could be like, ‘Okay, this is real and I can help you. Your feelings aren’t too much and you’re not a burden.’ That was really hard for me to accept at first. Now that I have found therapists that have helped me, I am so grateful for therapy.”
We love hearing from Hannah and we love how honest she always is. Check out more of her interview here.
