Has Danielle Olivera ditched Team Lindsay in favor of Team Carl? Not exactly. But she has adopted a more neutral position.
After Lindsay Hubbard announced that Carl Radke had called off their engagement last year, Danielle made it quite clear where her allegiance stood. The Summer House cast member said she fully supported Lindsay following the messy split and had cut communication with her former bestie Carl. However, Danielle admits she had a change of heart after Carl shared his side of the story at the Summer House Season 8 reunion.
“It was nice to hear his side,” Danielle recently told Us Weekly. “I think after all of that went down, I truly wanted to talk to him about it. I wanted to yell at him about it really in real time. But now a lot of time has passed, and [at] the reunion, I was OK. I could see both sides.”

Ahead of the Winter House Season 3 premiere, Danielle shared an unfortunate update on her relationship with Carl, whom she briefly dated in 2015. She told Us Weekly that she was no longer on speaking terms with the New York City-based salesman, as she didn’t like the way he ended things with Lindsay.
“People are like, ‘Do you talk to Carl?’ I’m like, ‘No, absolutely not,’” Danielle said at the time, adding she didn’t “intend” to speak to Carl. “There’s a line in the sand. I’m on Team Lindsay.”

It’s worth noting that Danielle made the comments in October 2023, less than two months after Carl broke up with Lindsay shortly before their wedding date. Danielle admits that her anger with Carl has waned over the past nine months and she no longer resents him.
“That happens with time and that happens with seeing both sides,” she told Us Weekly. “Yeah, I wish I could say I hated him. I don’t.”

While they’ve yet to return to BFF status, Danielle and Carl are apparently cordial nowadays. She shed more light on their relationship with a Sex and the City reference in which she compared herself to Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and Carl to Mr. Big (Chris North).
“He lives in Brooklyn,” Danielle said about Carl. “I run into him out here because I live in Brooklyn, as well, and I don’t feel like Charlotte as much, I don’t curse the day he was born as much.”
