Kat Dubrow is headed to Yale, so it's time to celebrate — with a fabulous "bed party," of course.
On April 24, Heather Dubrow and Dr. Terry Dubrow's daughter revealed how she was honoring her achievement of being accepted into Yale University for college. "CONGRATULATIONS KATARINA!!!! We are so proud of you and excited to watch you SHINE in college !!!! WE LOVE YOU !!!!!" Heather captioned an Instagram carousel of photos that showed Kat posing on her bed covered in Yale's colors and various goodies. She also added the hash tag "bed party."
We were instantly hit by the beautiful navy, white, and silver details throughout, with The Real Housewives of Orange County kid's bed covered in a dark navy blue blanket featuring "YALE" in white letters, large silver balloons spelling out "YALE," and more balloons around the bed frame. We also spotted tons of delicious treats with blue packaging, including Cool Ranch Doritos, Oreos, Chips Ahoy cookies, and more.
Additionally, as seen in more slides, Kat posed with a stunning cake with white-and-blue frosting and a Yale logo with the school's mascot: a bulldog.
RHOC's Emily Simpson celebrated Kat's achievement in the comments section, writing, "So exciting! Congrats!!" while Tamra Judge added, "Congratulations, Kat."
Kat Dubrow reveals her Yale University acceptance
Kat revealed the exciting news about her college choice in the final weeks of wrapping up high school. The choice was significant for Kat, considering her dad Terry also attended Yale in the 1980s.
“Kat to Yale!” read a celebratory post on the Windward ‘25 College Decisions page.
The 18-year-old quickly re-shared a wave of congratulatory messages on Instagram.

“Yale just got the best,” one person wrote, while another declared, “She’s an ivy leaguer.” Her BFF added, “My genius best friend is going to Yale.”
What is Kat Dubrow going to study in college?
In an August 2024 interview with BravoTV.com, Heather revealed Kat plans to major in film studies.
“So Kat is going to be a senior in high school,” Heather shared before pouring over Kat’s accolades. “She wants to go to school for film, so she’s applying now. The Academy, that does the Oscars, the Academy does a teen film series, and her film got accepted into that, which is so exciting.”

Kat began making films in her freshman year of high school and has already earned multiple awards for her creative work. Most recently, in March, she was recognized at the Westflix Film Festival, where she received the Cheri Gaulke Award for Visual Storytelling. The award honored her short film Chemtrails, which tells the story of a young boxer navigating external pressures and personal identity. Kat not only wrote the film but also directed and edited it. The project was praised for its use of color and stylized staging, highlighting her talent for visual storytelling.
