Here and Now Cast to Perform with Steps on Britain’s Got Talent: A Musical Moment You Won’t Forget
📅 May 24, 2025 — Britain’s Got Talent viewers are in for an electrifying night as the cast of Here & Now – The Steps Musical takes the stage alongside pop royalty Steps for a high-energy live performance during tonight’s semi-final show on ITV1 and ITVX.
This much-hyped collaboration promises to deliver nostalgia, showbiz glam, and a serious dose of feel-good entertainment as the stars of the musical join forces with the band whose music inspired it all. Performing a special medley of Steps’ biggest chart-toppers—including “Tragedy,” “5,6,7,8,” “Stomp,” and “One for Sorrow”—the group and cast will transport audiences back to the golden age of British pop, but with a fresh theatrical twist.
The performance will take place live at Eventim Apollo in London, one of the UK’s most legendary venues, and will also feature members of the iconic dance troupe Diversity, known for their groundbreaking choreography and previous BGT win.
Here & Now is a brand-new jukebox musical built around the beloved hits of Steps. Set in a fictional seaside supermarket, the show tells the story of friendship, heartbreak, and hope in a small town that’s seen better days. It’s a love letter to '90s pop and working-class resilience, wrapped in vibrant dance numbers, flashy costumes, and endless energy.
After a successful preview run in Birmingham last year, the musical is now gearing up for a full-scale UK tour beginning August 2025. Following the group’s appearance on BGT, producers expect a major surge in interest from fans eager to relive the music of their youth in a whole new way.
