There’s no time like the present.
With Scott Clifton possibly about to see Liam’s end on The Bold and the Beautiful, here’s why it’s the perfect time for him to bring Dillon Quartermaine back to General Hospital.
The History
Clifton played Dillon, the son of Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Paul (Richard Burgi), from 2003 to 2007. During that time, Dillon was part of Port Charles’ teen scene, along with Lulu (then Julie Berman), Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Brook Lynn (then Adrianne León), and the late Georgie (Lindze Letherman). The group were known for their teen drama, which heavily involved Lulu’s pregnancy and abortion with Dillon’s baby.
Now that babies are a hot topic for Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), now is the perfect time to bring Dillon back into the mix.
The Possibilities
If Dillon, who was last played by Robert Palmer Watkins from 2015 to 2017, were to return to Port Charles, he would come face-to-face with several loved ones. With Tracy back home, he could reunite with his mom and move into the Q Mansion.
He would also reunite with his niece Brook Lynn, who has been in the middle of a war with Lulu. It would be interesting to see whose side Dillon would take in their battle, and if he would have any sway on whether Lulu or Brook Lynn revealed the truth about Brook Lynn’s baby.
Lastly, Dillon would come face-to-face with the mother of his last known girlfriend, the late Kiki (Hayley Erin). Would Ava (Maura West) welcome him back with open arms, or only see her deceased daughter when she looked at him? Bringing up Kiki’s death would play nicely into the way Kristina (Kate Mansi) is still grieving the death of Adela, which she blames Ava for.
