Bold & Beautiful Exclusive: As Luna Prepares to Pull a Total Sheila, Lisa Yamada Reveals Her Character’s Reasons

Whoo, boy, it’s starting to seem like old times on The Bold and the Beautiful, because Luna’s about to rip a page from Sheila’s playbook and steal another woman’s man just like Granny did Lauren’s husband back in the day on The Young and the Restless. Still to be revealed, though: Whether Luna will drug the object of her obsession as her elder did, trick him into marriage, pass off her rival’s baby as her own and try to kill said rival a zillion times.
Luna Reaches Out to Will
Previews for the week of March 24 have Luna beginning to make her move on Bill’s son. “Your family has been so supportive of me,” she tells Electra’s boyfriend. “I’d like to reciprocate.” That sounds to us like code for “Allow me to ruin your romance and plunge you into a hell of my own devising!”
Why, exactly, is Luna suddenly all about Will — especially since she told Steffy that Zende had been the best sex of her life? Shouldn’t she be going after him instead? The thing with Will, Lisa Yamada suggests to Soaps.com, is that “it seems like she often wants what she can’t have. I think that’s one of the reasons why she’s so drawn to Will — [he’s] a taken man.”
Is Will Just a Bill Substitute?
In a way, if Luna managed to seduce Will, she’d be able to have her cake and eat it, too. “Luna truly loves Bill and wanted him to be her dad. With Will being his son, maybe there’s a chance for her to have that connection after all?” Yamada theorizes. “On top of that, Will is a good-looking guy who even saved Electra from a crazed stalker— what girl wouldn’t want a knight-in-shining-armor type boyfriend?
