How much salary cap space do Indianapolis Colts have after 2025 NFL draft?

Following the 2025 NFL draft, how much salary cap space do the Indianapolis Colts currently have?

According to Over the Cap (OTC), the Colts are sitting on $23.151 million in available cap space. Compared to the rest of the NFL, this ranks as the 19th most.

Now, an important note when discussing salary cap figures at this time of the year is that this amount is not what the Colts have available to spend.

For one, the Colts still have to sign their incoming draft class, which OTC projects will eat up about $4.7 million in additional space.

In addition to that, the Colts also need cap space to assemble their practice squad, and each team wants to have reserves available for any in-season spending that may occur. The offseason salary cap figure is also based on the top 51 contracts on the books, and as we all know, there are 53 players on the regular season roster that take cap space.

However, having said that, the Colts are in good salary cap shape overall.

If GM Chris Ballard sees fit, an addition could still be made as well. Coming out of the NFL draft, adding competition at right guard, along with bolstering the depth at both safety and linebacker, are three positions that Indianapolis could justify adding to.

Any unused salary cap space at the end of the 2025 season can be rolled over into the 2026 season.
