Hurricanes Sign Tyson Jost to One-Year Deal - Carolina Hurricanes News, Analysis and More

The Carolina Hurricanes announced today that they have signed forward Tyson Jost to a one-year, $775,000 contract.

“Tyson is a reliable forward who can play a variety of roles,” said Carolina general manager Eric Tulsky. “His versatility will help bolster our depth heading into next season.”

Jost, 26, is a depth forward who has struggled to stick in the lineup on a few teams now.

The 5-foot-11 winger was once a 10th overall pick back in 2016 with the Colorado Avalanche, but he's never quite lived up to his draft pedigree.

In 456 career games, Jost has 57 goals and 140 points.
