Indianapolis Colts players set to become free agents this offseason if not re-signed by the team

The Colts have three/four starters set to hit free agency, as well as multiple key backups. Two of their Week 1 starting offensive linemen, Ryan Kelly and Will Fries, and their two most prominent tight ends, Kylen Gransoon and Mo Alie-Cox. Their offensive line depth could also take a hit with Danny Pinter and Mark Glowinski, who both started in games for the team in 2024 contracts are also up. Lastly, the QB room could get a pretty significant makeover with backup Joe Flacco and third-string Sam Ehlinger, who are not under contract for 2025. Due to Anthony Richareson's struggles, the Colts need to sign a reliable backup with upside to compete in training camp and push Richardson for his starting job.

The Colts also have multiple defensive starters set to become free agents. Linebacker E.J. Speed and safety Julian Blackmon were both full-time starters for the Colts in 2024, and Dayo Odeyingbo, Grant Stuard, and Taven Bryan also had significant roles for the team. It's hard to know what the team will do with most of these free agents due to t he ongoing search for their next defensive coordinator. Depending on who they hire, it could lead to significant personnel changes. Now that the Colts have completed interviews with all of their confirmed candidates, a decision could be made soon. This will help give some clarity to both the team and their free agents on their chances of returning for 2025.
