Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans DFS Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em | Week 6

Week six brings us an AFC South battle between the 2-3 Indianapolis Colts and the 1-3 Tennessee Titans. The Titans snapped their three-game losing streak by defeating the Miami Dolphins. The Colts come in banged up offensively with both Jonathan Taylor and Josh Downs questionable and Michael Pittman declared out with a back injury.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans DFS Start ‘Ems

Here are a few of the players we are heavily leaning on in this game. These players are in a good spot to put together a solid performance and have a favorable matchup.

Tennessee Titans RB Tony Pollard ($6k DraftKings and $7k Fanduel)

Tony Pollard is RB18 in fantasy and has operated as the RB1 in the Titans backfield getting 64% of the running back snaps and a strong majority of the red zone work. The Colt’s rush defense is bottom 10 in yards after contact and allows the second most rushing yards per game. Tyjae Spears is also a viable flex start based on the matchup.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs ($5.5k DraftKings and $$6.1k Fanduel)

While researching this game, we Josh Downs is battling a turf toe injury and is questionable for week six. If Downs starts he is a great DFS option. Downs has a 27.4% target share and is WR24 since his return to game action. With Michael Pittman set to miss multiple games, Josh Downs sets up to be the Colt’s WR1 and a target monster. If Downs is declared out, substitute Alec Pierce with 21.6 yards per target and three receiving touchdowns. Either way, Pierce is a DFS start for us as well.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans DFS Sit ‘Ems

On the flip side, here are a few of the players we recommend sitting in this one.

Indianapolis Colts RB Trey Sermon ($6k DraftKings and $6k Fanduel)

Jonathan Taylor is still questionable and not practicing with a high ankle sprain making Sermon the Indianapolis RB1 again this week. He got 16 touches for 63 yards and a score in week five but in week six gets the top-ranked Tennessee run defense.

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins ($5.7k DraftKings and $5.8k Fanduel)

Hopkins has not shown any fantasy value this season. He is WR74 in fantasy PPR and based on that statistic alone there is no way we are not starting him. Hopkins has 10 catches for 121 yards in four games and this offense can not support many options in the passing game.

Total Apex Lock of the Game

Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis ($4.8k DraftKings and $6.6k Fanduel)

This is a great matchup for Will Levis to get going. Levis will face a Colts defense that is bottom five in yards per attempt allowed, quarterback passer rating allowed, and passing yards per game. We are taking a bit of a risk with our DFS lock of the game but the data is in our favor.

Total Apex Fade of the Game

Indianapolis Colts Anthony Richardson ($6k DraftKings and $7.3k Fanduel)

Anthony Richardson was inactive last week with a hip injury, however, returned to limited practice today and remains questionable for week six. Richardson is a fade for us this week as he gets the Titan’s top-ranked pass defense and minus top wideout Michael Pittman who is expected to miss multiple weeks with a back injury.  Richardson is QB27 this year, completes barely 50% of his passes, and has only three touchdown passes. You have to start him if he is active based on where you drafted him, but we do not expect much.

Conclusion

This game does not set up as a fantasy feast with the low implied total but there are some great value DFS value options you can plug in if you decide to spend up at wide receiver or running back.
