The Detroit Red Wings' playoff hopes have officially dried up, but there remain three games to play in the 2024-25 season. Coach Todd McLellan stressed after Sunday's practice that there is "always something to play for," heading into that home stretch, though he acknowledged that his team's "spirit" was dragging after its elimination. Here's on update on the Red Wings' health with three games to go.

At Sunday's practice, goaltender Petr Mrazek (who has played since Mar. 24) returned to the ice, and McLellan indicated that he expects the 33-year-old to start at least one of the season's three remaining games.
Meanwhile, forward Elmer Soderblom (out since Apr. 8 at Montreal) did not participate in practice, and, per McLellan, Soderblom has been "shut down" for the season, ruling him out from the Red Wings three remaining games.
