Inside Amanda Holden's £860k thatched cottage in the Cotswolds

Amanda Holden originally moved over to the Cotswolds in 2012, making Oxfordshire her new home.

Known for being a talent show judge on ITV's Britain's Got Talent (BGT) and co-hosting the national Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings, she is a household name.

Ms Holden purchased her house in the Chipping Norton area over a decade ago for £860,000.

When wanting a break from the life of a celebrity, her countryside retreat offers a cosy pad away from all the hustle and bustle.

Featuring thatched roofs, the house is over 400 years old with Ms Holden and her family choosing to renovate certain aspects over the years.

The 54-year-old enjoys weekends and holidays at the Cotswolds spot with husband Chris Hughes and daughters Lexi and Hollie.

Ms Holden has shared several snaps on Instagram of the interior of the pad which help to give a real feel to life in the cottage.

The living room's main features include a wooden floor paired with cream walls.

A large blue L-shaped sofa can be seen in photos on Instagram while a blue rug and a wooden coffee table are located in the room's centre.

An open fireplace in the room has since been renovated with a wooden clock now sitting on the finished feature.

With four bedrooms in total, Ms Holden has given a sneak peek into her own at the property.

The BGT judge maintained the vaulted ceiling in the room as well as the exposed brick walls and wooden flooring.

A silver bed with a metallic frame sits in the centre of the room while trunks made from black leather sit on either side as bedside tables.

Ms Holden's fellow celebrity residents in the area include Jeremy Clarkson, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi and Simon Cowell as well as David and Victoria Beckham.
