Elizabeth could turn to Ric if she can’t forgive Lucky.
Will Elizabeth turn to Ric?
General Hospital‘s Lucky and Elizabeth are in a good place. Is their reunion too good to be true? Ric is waiting for it to fail.
Waiting In The Wings
Ric (Rick Hearst) has always been in love with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). They were once a happy couple and were married twice but Ric was constantly screwing up. He once locked a pregnant Carly (Laura Wright) in a panic room with plans to steal her baby. Eventually, sweet Elizabeth wanted no part of his crimes and left him.
Ric recently returned to Port Charles with lingering feelings for his ex, but she wasn’t interested. Instead, she fell for her first love, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), when he also returned home. When Ric realized there was no chance with Liz, he became involved with Ava (Maura West). That doesn’t mean he no longer has feelings for Elizabeth. He may be waiting for the right time, and that time may come soon.
Crash
The car crash could be the beginning of the end for Lucky and Liz. Kristina (Kate Mansi) tried to kill Ava but almost killed Elizabeth and Ric instead. Lucky knows the truth and is reluctantly keeping quiet to protect his friend. Secrets always come to light in Port Charles, and when this comes out, it could cause major damage, not just for Kristina.
Elizabeth could have died in that crash, and her boyfriend is protecting the person who caused the accident. She may not be so happy with him when she knows the truth. Lucky has failed her many times in the past, and keeping this secret may not be a good move on his part. She could dump him before their new relationship gets off the ground.
Ric will be there to rescue a broken-hearted Elizabeth. She recently confided in friends that she could have feelings for him if he were a better person. Her anger at Lucky may have her fall back into Ric’s arms. This would undoubtedly infuriate Ava, and who knows how she will react? Do you think Lucky’s mistake will lead her to turn to Ric?
