IS STEFAN DIMERA MAKING A BIG RETURN TO DAYS?

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that it’s been a hot minute since Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) has been in the land of Salem; however, the Peacock soap has been dropping his name quite a bit in storylines, as of late. Is the daytime drama hinting at a return? Here’s what we know so far.

Stefan DiMera’s Exit

Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that Stefan was kidnapped and taken to Alamainia in October 2024 by none other than his mom, Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel).

He was on the cusp of declaring his love to his wife, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), and thus reuniting with his estranged wife when Mommy Dearest thought she was doing a solid by stopping him and shipping him off, without anyone in Salem the wiser.

In recent weeks, Stefan’s name has been dropped a number of times. Fans know that mentioning past Salemites just doesn’t happen for no reason, so could Days of Our Lives be teasing a return?

Could Stefan DiMera Be Recast?

Fans raised their eyebrows this past May when EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) got a ‘Get Well Soon’ from Stefan, after getting shot and then waking up from his coma.

Fast forward to the Monday, June 23 episode, and a returning Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) mentioned he was trying to reach Stefan but hadn’t heard back from him.

While EJ, along with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), fluffed off Tony’s concerns, the eldest DiMera brother couldn’t shake that something felt off. He even asked Gabi if she had heard from Stefan.
Will Days address Stefan’s kidnapping?

Could they close the loop on this storyline by creating an arc that reveals Stefan may have met his demise somewhere between Salem and Alamainia? Will Vivian be exposed for kidnapping her son?

Then, there’s always the chance that Stefan could return to the canvas, either with Brandon Barash or via a recast. Gabi’s reunion with JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) hasn’t exactly ‘gone’ anywhere, so she could use a little romance in her life, right?!
