'It doesn’t involve me,' Aaron Judge REFUSES to comment regarding hitting coach Richard Schenck’s take on ‘terrible’ Yankees team

Aaron Judge refuses to comment on his personal hitting coach Richard Schenck’s post on X (formerly known as Twitter). He coldly states that it’s none of his business who comments what on social media since it’s not him.

'It doesn’t involve me,' Aaron Judge REFUSES to comment regarding hitting coach Richard Schenck’s take on ‘terrible’ Yankees team

The New York Yankees have been in a slump for quite a while and their wobbly performances have several fans and pundits take a shot at the team, questioning their playoff credibility. On Thursday, Schenck took to X, blasting the Yankees on their player development system, calling it “terrible”.

Following their last few performances, the team slid down from their first place in the American League East. Pointing out to their performances, Schenck commented,

They’ve lost 13 out of 18 while he’s hitting like an MVP. The Yankees offensive player development is terrible. Richard Schenck on X.

Earlier, Aaron Judge made it clear that he does not look into social media as he’s busy perfecting and strategizing on their team efforts more. He did not know about Schenck’s take on X until a reporter showed him the post before Friday’s game.

It doesn’t involve me. It’s somebody else making a comment. I’m not going to comment for somebody else…I’ve got no control over what another person does. Aaron Judge as per Pete Caldera of USA Today.

Judge confirmed that he has worked with Richard Schenck “every two weeks” since the 2016-17 offseason. Sometimes even his teammates like Anthony Rizzo join the session. Not only that, the trainer himself has met up with the Yankees during both home and away games. However, he is not in any way of form hired by the organization itself.

Aaron Boone comments about Richard Schenck’s take on Yankees player development

Just like Aaron Judge, NY Yankees general manager Aaron Boone stated that he has no interest in commenting on this topic. Boone feels results should shut them up rather than dragging and commenting on it.

Aaron Judge 'not going to comment' on coach's Yankees critique

Boone expresses that people are entitled to their opinion, especially “when you go through a tough stretch”. Although the team has lost quite a few of their games, they’ve won 14-4 against the Red Sox in their latest faceoff.

...I know people are going to take shots and things like that. You can’t get all consumed with all that stuff. Aaron Boone as per Pete Caldera of USA Today.

Boone feels that a lot of responsibility comes with wearing the Yankees uniform. Rather than worrying about what’s already over, it’s best to think about how we should improve further. “That’s the focus,” the team is going with.
