It's "It's Time" time. Set your timers for a dozen zingers. (Ready, set, go!)
1. It's time Peter Laviolette directly addresses issues being discussed about him. Like being fired. Like his failure to give young players enough of a chance. Like his treating Mike The Not Magnificent as if he is Superman,
2. It's time one of the mainstream media (ahem) stars directly asks The Teflon Coach, "Why, where and how did you fail? (Or is that asking too much?)
3. It's time that the Blueshirts "Country Club" culture – once and for all – is abandoned and turns blue collar.
4. It's time that Vincent Trocheck tell us why his game this season compared to last year is like going from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde.
5. It's time that someone in MSG's Important Suit Department realize that the next banner-raising should be for a Ranger more important than most – Frank Boucher.
6. It's time we acknowledge that Adam Fox never will win another Norris Trophy and he no longer plays like the Fox who once won it.
7. It's time that fans focus on eternal Ranger Chris Kreider who won't be wearing the Blueshirt next season.
8. It's time for one of his press agents to remind Exalted Coach Laviolette that when he says "We've got to win games" after every single loss, "it's REDUNDANT, Peter!" (We've heard that song so many times, it's coming out of both ears.)
9. It's time that Big Al Lafreniere tried No-Doz. It might help awaken the sleeping giant.
10. It's time for Dancin' Larry to learn how to do the Mambo. The over-hyped waltz he's been displaying for years is about as energizing as a late "F" train at Smith-9th.
11. It's time Lavvy passed around the NHL standings to one and all -- with a short message: PLAYOFFS OR BUST!
