Next Gen NYC personality Gia Giudice set the record straight regarding her education at Rutgers University.
The eldest dorter of Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice defended herself on her podcast, Casual Chaos.
“I feel like something big that has been talked about so much is me having this crazy Rutgers plagiarism scandal,” Gia began her segment.
“Two years ago [I graduated] with all my chords, my diploma. I moved my tassel to the other side.” The rumor she plagiarized while attending the prestigious school is “just not true.”
She continued, “If I was involved in some crazy plagiarism scandal, one, I would’ve failed the class. Two, I probably wouldn’t have graduated.”
“Rutgers takes cheating and plagiarism very seriously.”
The Waking Up In The Morning songwriter believes her name is being used for clout. “Again, just another clickbait, people using my name for storylines.”
She told her listeners that this rumor was “again, just another clickbait, people using my name for story lines.”
“I really don’t let story lines or headlines upset me at all,” Gia confessed, noting that she just “blocks out the noise.”
According to an “anonymous tip” that was published by a known clickbait site, rho.cafex.biz, Gia allegedly created a “professional ghostwriting service to complete important papers.”
The services allegedly included Gia and her classmates charging other Rutgers students to write essays or other academic projects. They reportedly operated the underground service as a “real company,” requesting that their clients send payments through Venmo, PayPal, and fake accounts.
The clickbait blog also accused Gia’s stepdad, Louie Ruelas, of being involved in the scandal.
