It’s Time for the Newman Grandchildren to Return to Young and the Restless

Victor and Nikki are all about family on The Young and the Restless. But when it comes to their grandchildren, Claire is the center of their world. It’s time for the grandparents to be reunited with their other grandkids.

Newman Family Reunion

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have nine grandchildren. After Summer’s (Allison Lanier) recent departure, Claire (Hayley Erin) and Connor (Judah Mackey) are the only grandkids currently on the show. It’s been a while since the other Newman grandchildren were seen, so why not have them return to Genoa City.

The eldest Newman grandson, Noah (Rory Gibson) has a new life in London where he’s running a nightclub. Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) recently visited him, but Noah’s long overdue for a trip to Genoa City. Noah’s visit, even if its brief would put him back in ex-girlfriend Audra’s (Zuleyka Silver) orbit. He might even be the one to derail his grandfather and Audra’s scheme to break up Claire and Kyle (Michael Mealor).

Christian (Alex Wilson) is another Newman grandson, who hasn’t been seen or mentioned in a while. The next time Christian pops up, chances are he’ll be an angsty teenager. Christian’s return will open up new family drama when he discovers that Adam (Mark Grossman), not Nick is his father.

Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) children are also due for a return. Johnny (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie’s (Sienna Mercuri) last appearance had them meeting their half-sister Claire. Although they got off to a rough start, eventually Johnny and Katie warmed up to Claire. But the same might not be said for Claire’s half-brother Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). Reed is overdue for a return and he needs to meet his new sister. Since Reed is protective of his family, odds are he won’t be so welcoming towards Claire, leading Victoria to play peacemaker.

While having the Newman grandchildren return will be exciting, it’ll also bring the potential for drama, something the family needs.
