A surprise result ended the 2025 series of Britain's Got Talent as Ant and Dec announced who had won and the final three
Britain's Got Talent has announced its winner for 2025 - and shocked those watching who had thought it was a done deal for one act.
The ITV show's creator Simon Cowell said it was the closest final they had ever had as he said any act could take theAnt and Dec announced the finalists in the order they finished, revealing the top three to be The Blackouts, Binitra Chetry and magician Harry Moulding much to the surprise of many at home as the Post Office choir Hear Our Voice had been touted to win the show before the final. win.And he revealed his son Eric, 11, who he said he trusted, had chosen acrobatic dancer Binitra Chetry as his winner.Eight-year-old Binitra said she was 'proud' as she finished in third place, coming in behind The Blackouts who finished second.
But it was comedian Harry who took home the big prize of £250k and the chance to perform in the Royal Variety Show.
He couldn't believe he had won, clasping his head in his hands after the announcement.
Harry said after his win: "I can't believe...what is going on?
"Thanks everyone so so much, this has been the most incredible jounrey I can't believe that I'm here."
Viewers at home were divided the the final result, with many saying they had hoped Binitra would take the win.
One wrote on X: "Binita is my winner. Simple as, she’s f****** world class!! She’s got a massive future! #BritainsGotTalent #BGTFinal."
"Binita should have won that," a second said, while a third added: "shouldve been binita."
"I’m never watching Britain’s got talent again," another viewer moaned, while another wrote: "Worst final ever omg."
Others were happy Harry took the cash prize, saying: "The right act won #BGT! Congratulations!" and "Wow! A massive congratulations to #HarryMoulding! He was fantastic throughout series, a very well deserved winner."
The other acts who performed in the final were: singing duo friends Han and Fran, LED dancers The Blackouts, inspirational choir Hear Our Voice, magician Harry Moulding, guitarist Olly Pearson, singer Stacey Leadbeatter, comedian Joseph Charm, Ping Pong Pang, drag queen, operatic tenor Jasmine Rice, eight year old acrobatic dancer Binitra Chetry and singer Vinnie McKee in the final.
