Britain's Got Talent viewers were left fuming after Ant and Dec announced the winner of the second semi-final on Saturday

Britain's Got Talent viewers were left disgruntled following the announcement of the winner of the second semi-final on Saturday (May 3).

The fan-favourite talent show returned to screens tonight, with another eight acts performing for a place in the grand final.

Magician Alexandra Burgio, dancers Cheer re Mans, magician and dancer Jannick Holste, singer John Pierce, dancers Lil M's, guitarist Olly Pearson, singer Stacey Leadbeatter and impressionist Will Burns all took to the stage.

Simon Cowell was given control of the golden buzzer and chose to send 11-year-old guitarist Olly Pearson straight through to the final.

At the end of tonight's live show, hosts Ant and Dec then confirmed singer Stacey Leadbeatter had also made it through to the final after receiving the highest number of public votes.

"The best experience of my entire life. I'm only 25 and I've already done it. And also, well done Stacey, Leeds had a good day today, so Yorkshire!" runner-up Will said.

A tearful Stacey then shared her excitement, saying: "I can't even explain it, thank you so much, thank you. I don't have the words!

"Thank you so much for believing in me, it means everything to me. This is my dream, thank you!"

However, fans were left unimpressed with the decision, with many taking to X (formerly Twitter) to share their "fix" claims.

"ALWAYS the last act people see! Only act that gets through!! Fix every time," one person wrote, with another adding: "This pile of rubbish needs to be renamed Britain's Got the Fix Factor, because there is NO WAY tonight's voting was accurate. No way."

A third fan said: "Well #bgt result was disappointing. Two I wouldn't have wanted in the final. It's always so predictable," while another similarly shared: "BGT is fixed... another singer in the final."

A fifth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: "I'm done with this show. Pure s*** finalist lineup so far. This is #BGT NOT X Factor or The Voice."

Olly and Stacey join dance troupe The Blackouts and Scottish singer Vinnie McKee in the upcoming grand final.
