Magician Harry Moulding got the last Golden Buzzer of the 2025 series and judge Simon Cowell was impressed
Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell has issued a warning to other finalists after a magician who conducted a live proposal got the last Golden Buzzer of the series. This week, rapper and boxer KSI returned to judge for the last semi-final of the 18th series with fellow judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli.
KSI was given the last remaining Golden Buzzer in a shock twist, which gave him the power to send one act straight through to the final on Saturday, May 31. Magician Harry Moulding snapped up the final Golden Buzzer of the season, sending him straight to next week's final, to which Simon Cowell assured he will be a "frontrunner".
The 24-year-old originally auditioned in his hometown of Blackpool in front of Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli, and guest judge KSI, who was filling in for Simon Cowell at the time. During his act, Harry promised to create a "special moment of real magic" for one person in the audience.
He brought with him 100 flashcards with different things written on it, such as seat numbers, places and celebrities. He then asked the judges to take a bunch each, and mix them all up, since Simon Cowell missed Harry's audition, he brought him an envelope to open.
Each of the judges then picked seat numbers at random from a list. The audience members sat in those seats were then given more numbers and words from a list which included Bruno Mars and the number 178.

Jess, another audience member was then asked to select a random destination, to which she answered "Paris". Harry Moulding continued: "I told you all I wanted to create a special moment for one person in the audience. And that person is you Jess."
He then guided Jess to watch a short clip, which started off with Harry in a mystery location 48 hours ago. Her boyfriend Harry ended up being in the video, which ended up being filmed in Paris.
Harry asked her boyfriend where he'd like to get married, who he'd like to perform at the wedding and how many guests there would be. All of his answers were what was written on the cards: Paris, Bruno Mars and 178 people.
After the video, Jess' boyfriend Harry then appeared on stage and asked Jess to marry him, resulting in KSI pressing the golden buzzer. Judge Amanda Holden said: "I've got goosebumps, the magic is another level!"
Simon Cowell concluded: "I'm happy for so many reasons! Particularly because this was live and people got to experience it. And by the way, all of you that have a place in the final now, be nervous, because Harry is a front runner."
Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts on the act. One fan tweeted: "Wholesome moment, can't hate on a little love!"
A second tweet read: "I hope he goes on to win next week! One of the best magicians we've ever had on this show. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us on the final."
A third fan said: "That was absolutely fabulous!"
