Teen Mom star Jade Cline is hoping to welcome another baby into her family soon. Jade recently revealed that she and her husband Sean Austin are in the process of adopting a child.
This would be the couple’s second child since she got pregnant as a teenager.
Jade Cline welcomed her first baby girl into the world in 2017.
Jade and Sean Austin are the only Teen Mom couple who have not went on to have more children, but it seems like that may be changing soon.
According to The Ashely’s Reality Roundup, Jade revealed that she and Sean are in the process of adopting another child.
During a TikTok livestream, Jade said that they are in the beginning stages of filling out paperwork.
In 2021 Jade revealed that she always had a plan to adopt another child.
“I think in a few years I would like to adopt,” she shared on Instagram, according to The Ashley. “Since I was in foster care I definitely think it would be best for me to do the foster-to-adopt program. So many children in my state are in foster care and are in need of adoption.”
Last year Jade gave an update to E! News about their plans for a second baby.
At the time they were not thinking about adoption.
"I got off birth control,” revealed the mother of one. "I've been off birth control for, like, three weeks. I ran out. I'm just letting God, God."
Jade confirmed that she wants to "try to have another baby before Kloie is too much older.”
“I want them to be apart in age, but not super far apart," explained the reality star.
However, that has been challenging for the parents of a young child. She explained that they were in a rut before their wedding last year.
"We realized that we were not being intimate with each other,” Jade recalled to the outlet. “I'm not feeling sexy because I'm doing so much."
In addition to being a mom and appearing on MTV, she owns the Mane & Marble salon and has begun a career in real estate.
It was particularly difficult for the Indiana native earlier in her daughter’s life.
“The younger Kloie was, the less sexy I felt,” Jade admitted. “I just felt like this disaster house cave woman half the time.”
Luckily, there has been some improvement.
She continued, “Then as she got older and is more independent and wants me to do less for her, I have more of my free time and my independence back.”
