An unexpected surprise.
Bachelor Nation fan-favorite couple Jade Roper Tolbert and Tanner Tolbert first fell in love and got engaged on the beach during Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since then, they’ve gotten married and welcomed three children together: Emerson, Brooks, and Reed.
Last year, the Tolberts moved back to Kansas City after living in Orange County, California, and shared that they bought 10 acres to build their dream home on.
However, earlier this month they revealed that they’ve decided to let go of that land and are now on the hunt for a new dream home.
Jade has been keeping fans up to date with their search online and just posted a new video revealing something Tanner did while house hunting that she never thought was possible.
The video shows both of them in the car as she says, “We’re doing something that I thought Tanner would never do! We are going to look at a house with some land. It has like 8 acres, but it needs a renovation and that’s not Tanner’s style.”
Tanner chimes in as the camera turns to him and confirms, “I only wanted new-build, I thought.”
Jade then turns the camera back to her and admits, “He’s actually keeping an open mind, which I honestly never thought would be possible.”
The Bachelor Nation star also revealed that they want to stay in Kansas City.
She said, “We are on the hunt for a new ‘forever home’ spot for our family in KC! We are still wanting land and still wanting to stay in the same area, so we are looking at a few new pieces of land!”
Jade went on and shared her surprise at Tanner being open to looking at a house needing renovations, as well as some of the features they loved.
She expressed, “Looking at a house that needs a few updates/renovations is something I never thought Tanner would do, but he actually had an open mind today! We loved the pond and all the wildlife we saw, and the boys absolutely loved running around and playing. What do you think?”
We are wishing the Tolbert family all the best as they search for their dream home, and we can’t wait to see what they choose. We know they will find the perfect place!
