Jake Oettinger’s 4-Nations Face-Off mask has been released and it looks awfully similar to Henrik Lundqvist’s old mask with the New York Rangers.

For his Team USA goalie helmet, Oettinger chose a Statue of Liberty theme for his mask. Lady Liberty is painted in blue on both sides of his mask with an otter wearing a Statue of Liberty costume on top.

Oettinger has been on record praising how much he admires Lundqvist as the legendary Rangers goalie was his childhood hero.

“Hank’s my favorite goalie of all time so to get to be talking to you and Hank now is pretty cool and a dream come true,” Oettinger said while talking to Lundqvist on TNT. “So I look up to you a lot and it’s just an honor to have you say those kind words about me.”

The 4-Nations Face-Off is set to take place from February 12-20 with Oettinger taking center stage for Team USA.
