On Wednesday, June 25, Roberts took to his Instagram Stories to check in with fans. The “American Idol” champ got real about how he’s been feeling mentally, hinting at the weight of navigating success and the pressure that comes with it.
Check in: How are you feeling mentally? I’ll start it off. Sometimes it gets overwhelming. No judgment, just love.
Roberts even added the hashtag “#nojudgementjustlove,” seemingly encouraging his followers to open up too.
Those who follow Roberts’ journey know he has been very busy since his “American Idol” victory. The “Heal” singer previously performed at the 2025 BET Awards, performing in a special tribute to Kirk Franklin, who was honored with the Ultimate Icon Award.
Roberts also landed his first-ever U.S. tour, joining R&B legends Monica and Brandy on the “Boy Is Mine” tour, according to Variety. The 24-city arena tour is set to run from October 16 through December 7, 2025.
