Joe Burrow sent shockwaves throughout the Cincinnati Bengals fanbase after calling out the front office to bring back Tee Higgins after the win over the Cowboys.

Since those comments, he has doubled down on his demands to bring back Tee Higgins, saying that he would be ‘very disappointed’ in the front office if No. 5 isn’t resigned and that he (Tee) is a ‘need’ for this franchise.

Burrow isn’t the only one who has openly made comments to retain Higgins.

Ja’Marr Chase has also chimed in as well.

Most recently, in his weekly press conference, Chase shared his thoughts again about the front office extending Tee.

“Yeah, 100% I feel like he deserves to be here. He wants to be here, but at the end of the day, that’s not in my control. I just hope the best for him. I hope he can stay. We keep this going,” Chase said.

Chase was also asked about the importance of keeping the trio (Burrow, Chase, Higgins) together.

“That’s a piece of the offense that would be missing if he (Higgins) does leave, but who knows what they’ll do to replace Tee. Not saying he will leave, but it’ll be a lot going on.

“At the end of the day, I’ve just been with him for this long. We have built chemistry this long, chemistry with Joe, so the chemistry is there already. It’s all about how they want to play it.”

The discussion of bringing Tee back has picked up rapidly after all these comments and with him leaving his agent, David Mulugheta, to sign with Rocky Arceneaux, who also happens to represent Chase.

It’s no secret that Mulugheta’s agency has a poor relationship with the Bengals front office, so this move is great news for those hoping to keep Higgins in Cincinnati.

Time will tell, but Bengals fans have every right to be excited about everything with Tee this week.
