James Jordan Gets Candid About Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood Following Ola’s Brutal Swipe!

James Jordan has reaffirmed his admiration for Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood, following their recent awkward interaction.

In January, Craig, 60, responded to James' spouse Ola Jordan's observations about his seemingly altered judging approach on the BBC dance show.

Ola, 42, claimed that Craig had "lost his sparkle" and was no longer as forthright as he was in previous seasons.

She told Mecca Bingo: "He would say it as it is, saying he wasn't good, that was rubbish, but it's almost like he's got to say a positive now.

"He's obviously been told they've got to be positive and that they don't want any negativity in the show and that comes from producers, but they need to look at what the public wants really. It's too nicey nicey."

Furthermore, Ola suggested that the judging panel could benefit from inviting a different guest judge onto the show each week to add "a bit more spice to the panel".

Shortly after, Craig replied on the platform X: "Former Strictly pro Ola Jordan says 'nicey nicey' Craig Revel Horwood replaced with 'spicier' judge.

"Maybe you'd like to suggest your wonderful husband Ola? @The_OlaJordan."

James, 46, went on to question Craig about whether he thought he'd serve well as "a good honest judge" and sent "big love".

In a new chat, the former Strictly professional discussed how he believes he'd be as a judge on Strictly or Dancing On Ice, the latter of which he was crowned champion in 2019.

He told Reach via Sky Vegas: "The way the world is at the moment, everyone is so afraid of offending others."

James went on to say that while he wouldn't "deliberately go out to offend anyone", he believes "honesty is the best policy".

"You can't improve unless someone points out where you're going wrong," he further explained. "There's nothing wrong with making mistakes – growth comes from being told, guided, and steered in the right direction."

Sharing his admiration for Craig, he added: "Whether it's Strictly or Dancing On Ice, I feel there's not enough honesty in judging. That's why I've always been a big fan of Craig because he says what he thinks."
