Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz is lacing up his dancing shoes once again — and this time, he’s calling it a comeback.
After finishing as runner-up in Season 32 of Dancing With the Stars, Mraz is heading back to the ballroom for the show’s 2025 live tour. In a recent interview, the “I’m Yours” singer described the opportunity as his “Redemption Tour,” joking that he’s back to reclaim what slipped through his fingers last time.
“I was so close. I felt like I had unfinished business,” Mraz said. “So when the opportunity came up to join the tour, I knew I had to do it — not just for me, but for all the fans who cheered me on last season.”
Mraz quickly became a fan favorite during his run on DWTS, thanks to his charm, smooth footwork, and undeniable musicality. Paired with pro dancer Daniella Karagach, the duo wowed judges and viewers week after week. Although they didn’t take home the Mirrorball Trophy, they left a lasting impression.
The 2025 Dancing With the Stars Live Tour will feature Mraz alongside a lineup of past contestants and professional dancers. The nationwide tour is set to hit over 60 cities across the U.S., offering fans a chance to see their favorite routines performed live — and maybe even a few surprises.
While music remains Mraz’s first love, he says dance has unlocked a new side of his creativity. “It’s a totally different form of expression, but it’s just as powerful,” he explained. “I’ve gained so much respect for dancers and performers — it’s been humbling, but also inspiring.”
As for whether he’s eyeing another run at the Mirrorball Trophy, Mraz remains lighthearted. “Let’s just say I’ve got a little more rhythm in my step this time around,” he teased.
Fans can expect Mraz to bring his signature positivity, soul, and maybe even a few new moves when he hits the road this spring.
