Jason Tartick Addresses Kelley Flanagan Dating Rumors: ‘She Is an Awesome Person’

Jason Tartick addressed rumors of a romance with fellow Bachelor Nation star Kelley Flanagan.

In an Instagram Story shared with fans on Tuesday, June 24, Tartick, 36, was asked whether he had ever “gone on a date” with the former Bachelor contestant, 33.

“I can’t say enough good things about Kelley, she is an awesome person. She’s incredible,” Tartick, who competed for Becca Kufrin’s affections during season 14 of The Bachelorette, began. “But we’ve only been friends, we’ve only ever been friends, and no, we haven’t gone on a date.”

Tartick’s confirmation comes two months after Flanagan exclusively told Us Weekly that she has “always gotten along well” with Tartick.

“I love Jason,” Flanagan told Us at an event in New York City on April 22. “Jason is amazing. We get along. I actually work with [Jason’s] agency and I am great friends with the people that we work with.” (Tartick is the cofounder of Rewired Talent Management while Flanagan works as an attorney and social media influencer.)

Tartick added that fan speculation about the pair’s friendship proved “tough” recently. “When people are … speculating about it, what do you do?” Tartick pondered. “Like, do you come out and be, like, ‘No, speculation is wrong?’ You kind of, just, whatever, let it go. Kelley’s the best, but no, we’ve only been friends.”

Tartick, who originally appeared on season 14 of The Bachelorette, is currently single after splitting from TikTok influencer Kat Sickler in October 2024. As for Flanagan, the reality star told Us in April that she didn’t think she was “in a place to date” after splitting from Ari Raptis in November 2024 amid a cheating scandal on his part.

Flanagan’s dating history has been rocky since her time on The Bachelor in early 2020. She didn’t win the heart of Peter Weber on the show, however did reconnect with him amid the coronavirus quarantine in March that year and dated him on and off until 2023.

Flanagan and Weber, 33, seemingly maintained a close friendship despite their romance falling short as the pair were spotted enjoying the festivities at Coachella and Revolve festivals in April.

Flanagan told Us during her April chat, “Peter and I, we weren’t ever really awkward. We always got along. We were always great friends. I think he said something this weekend and he was like, ‘Kel, you’re like the sister I never had.’ And I was like, ‘OK, that’s maybe a little awkward.’”

Tartick has had his own fair share of relationship turmoil, getting engaged to Kaitlyn Bristowe in May 2021 and splitting in August 2023, one year prior to striking up a flame with Sickler, 30.
