Jax Taylor is clearing up any relationship rumors.

On May 30, The Valley star, 44, addressed reports that he was back on the dating scene after he was spotted spending time with model Paige Woolen.

“I am not dating anyone and I wish you all knew the full story of this situation. Its not what you think. 😔," he wrote in a brief statement shared to X.

On Saturday, May 25, the television personality was seen grabbing lunch with Woolen at the Granville Cafe in Los Angeles, California amid his separation from Brittany Cartwright.

The outing between Taylor and the model lasted for three hours and took place after they spent time at the Oaks Bar in Sherman Oaks the day prior. The duo's lunchtime excursion came a day after Cartwright updated fans about the status of their marriage during an episode of their When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany podcast.

“Right now, I can't even be in the same room with him very long,” she told guest Tom Schwartz. “Last time you were here, I was fine…You were like, I forget you guys are even separated. So it's very up and down like that.”

“But we gotta remember, I'm the one that's living elsewhere and…I feel like I'm the one that's taking all of the hard hits even though I was the one that had to leave,” she explained.

Cartwright announced the news of their separation after four years of marriage on an episode of the podcast in February.

“Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she said at the time.

The following month, Cartwright told PEOPLE at the premiere of the The Valley that she “really needed to step back from” the relationship.

"Once a woman hits her breaking point, it's like 'Done.' Something like clicked in my head, and I was like. 'I need to step away from this situation. This is not not healthy. This is not a good situation. My son deserves better. I deserve better,'" she said.

She also noted that the pair’s three-year-old son, Cruz, is the “most important thing” to them both as they navigate their time apart.

"I feel a little bit of relief," Cartwright admitted. "I needed this space."
