Jeff Lewis claims Sonja Morgan's 'obnoxious, drunk behavior' was much worse than what aired on 'WWHL' 15th anniversary
Jeff Lewis called out Sonja Morgan for allegedly being wasted at the taping for the 15th anniversary of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
“I was very annoyed by Sonja and, I believe … that they did a lot of work to edit her obnoxious, drunk behavior, but what you see was 20 times worse,” he recently alleged on Sirius XM’s “Jeff Lewis Live.”
“She never stopped talking. She was belligerent. She was rude and disrespectful. She was confrontational. She came for me at the break. I was completely turned off by her behavior.”
“By the way, accusing me of something that I don’t recall doing,” the “Flipping Out” alum added. “I don’t think it was something that I did do.”
Lewis’ co-host pointed out that when the Bravolebs were back on the air, you could “hear [Morgan] shout out things the entire rest of the episode.”
In one part of the “WWHL” episode, in which Lewis had a minor confrontation with Teresa Giudice over some past beef, the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum commands him, “Get on your knees.”
During the “After Show” segment, she then could be heard interrupting several times and speaking in a slurred speech.
In one painfully awkward moment, the reality star said she would not participate in her co-star Luann de Lesseps’ “Marry, F–k, Kill” game at her cabaret show because she will “f–k Luann, won’t f–k Dorinda [Medley] because Dorinda’s, like, a Catholic girl with big panties and Ramona [Singer] would be incest.”
All of the other guests, including several “Housewives,” Lewis and Jerry O’Connell were either silent or staring aghast and in shock.
A source exclusively tells Page Six that Morgan “showed up already intoxicated” to the shoot.
“She was then being served water once her condition became evident during the taping,” the insider adds.
Around the three-minute, 16-second mark of the “After Show,” Morgan can be seen holding up a shot glass to her face and then angrily telling de Lesseps, 59, “This is water!”
Lewis further claimed on his Sirius XM show that after the taping wrapped, Morgan allegedly confronted him backstage and that execs “kind of pulled her away from me.”
A source tells Page Six the former “RHONY” star was “put in a car” to her next destination and graciously escorted out of the Soho studio.
Lewis added on “Jeff Lewis Live,” “I watched her behavior and I thought to myself, ‘This has got to affect your career.
“Like when you show up at a professional event and act like this, how can this not affect your career?”
The interior designer then claimed he heard a “rumor” that Morgan and de Lesseps’ show “Crappie Lake” was not renewed because of the former’s drunken antics.
A production source denies to Page Six that “Crappie Lake,” which aired for one season, was cancelled because of Morgan’s behavior. Bravo has not yet made a formal announcement on the show’s status.
Lewis concluded on his radio show, “There is a point in time where it’s not funny anymore, and I think she has to clean up her act.”
Reps for Morgan and Bravo did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Morgan’s boozy behavior has been a hot topic before, as Page Six exclusively reported back in 2018 that she was spotted “wasted and humping people” at a downtown bar in New York City.
The former “Housewife” called the claims “exaggerated” and told us at the time, “I was having fun.”
In July 2021, a “RHONY” episode aired in which Morgan’s co-stars de Lesseps, Singer and Leah McSweeney tried to stage an intervention for her but the reality star denied she had a problem.
She told her castmates at the time, “I never drink alone. I don’t drink at home. I don’t drink on dates. I don’t go out and socialize like that.”
Morgan added in a confessional, “Chill out. I think we’ll be OK. i’m not going to explain myself anymore.”
