Prime Video's Sterling Point has added Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jay Duplass to its cast. Morgan continues to collaborate with Prime Video after The Boys and Invincible.
While the details of the young adult series are kept under wraps, according to Variety, Sterling Point follows the travels of a set of adopted twins, who travel to an island on a lake, left to them by their estranged grandmother.
The cast of the series include Ella Rubin, Keen Ruffalo, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Amelie Elisabeth Hoeferle, and Jacob Whiteluck-Lavoie.
Megan Park, who has written and directed My Old Ass, is the creator and a showrunner of Sterling Point. Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz also serve as showrunners on the series. LuckyChap Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios are producing the series.
Morgan's television performances include series like The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Boys, Supernatural, and Invincible. Duplass recently appeared as the Greek God of the Underworld, Hades, in the fantasy series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He is also a filmmaker, who has made films with his brother, actor-director Mark Duplass. The films include The Puffy Chair, Baghead, Cyrus, Jeff, Who Lives At Home, and The Do-Deca-Pentathlon.
