Jelly Roll is having the year of his life. In addition to his inspiring weight loss journey, headlining Stagecoach, seemingly endless song collabs, a cameo on Fire Country, and becoming American Idol’s first ‘Artist in Residence,’ Jelly has also been on tour with Post Malone as an opener for his stadium tour—and it’s a honor he doesn’t take lightly.
“Dear Austin, I say this on stage in some way every night, but man, being on this tour with you has been unreal,” Jelly captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram. “I have never had more fun in my life. The energy of the people is incredible. You can feel the love reverberate around the stadium every night. And that’s a testament to the spirit you embody and what you’ve done.”
Jelly went on to praise Posty for this opportunity of a lifetime. “I am honored to be opening up for you every night, I’m honored to call you brother, and blessed to watch you perform every night,” he continued in his caption. “The genuine gratitude you have for everything is infectious. The world is yours young man, keep kicking its ass for the rest of us. You are making all your fellow outcasts and losers proud, Posty. Thank you [for] the opportunity, I don’t take it for granted, so I laugh, dance, and sing from the soul every night.”
As grateful as Jelly is for this experience, fans are even more elated to attend the tour. “I saw you at Citi Field yesterday, and it was one of the best shows I [have] ever attended!!! You guys were amazing!!! Can’t wait to see you both again,” one fan commented on Jelly’s heartfelt post. “Man, the way you speak on others says a lot about your character!! Nothing but respect for how you carry yourself and lift people up while doing it big,” someone else exclaimed. “But you two ARE winners. I love y’all,” another fan chimed in. “Two humans with good hearts and immense talent. I can dig it,” someone else wrote.
Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour kicked off on April 29 with U.S. dates extending through July. Come August, the dynamic “Losers” duo skips across the pond for stops all across Europe through September.
