Jennifer Aydin is not afraid of telling the truth — whether it comes to the drama surrounding her fellow cast members on The Real Housewives of New Jersey or the rumors surrounding her recent weight loss.
Jen appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, July 14, in a Taylor Swift-inspired outfit, where she talked about her friendship woes — as well as her health journey.
Jennifer Aydin addresses speculation about weight loss
Host Andy Cohen noted that backstage, Jen had said that she wanted to clear the air about her weight loss, which is exactly what she did during her Clubhouse appearance. Jen denied that she is on Ozempic — a diabetes medication that has been used to induce weight loss.
"I am not on Ozempic," she said. "So everyone who is yelling at me, saying my head is too big for my body, it's just my hair, that I gotta stop taking Ozempic cause their family members can't get it — I am not on Ozempic."
Is Jennifer Aydin on Mounjaro?
She did share a few more details about her journey: "I'm on Mounjaro," Jen clarified. "It's Mounjaro, it's 2.5 [mg], it's...I'm sorry!"
Mounjaro is an FDA-approved injection that is used for "chronic weight management in adults" in addition to a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
"I have so much energy if you couldn't tell," she added about her journey.
