Most couples wouldn’t survive a multi-year prison sentence. Fortunately, Jen Shah and Sharrieff Shah aren’t like most couples. Although the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star spent another Valentine’s Day behind bars, she somehow got access to Instagram to share an adorable message to her husband. According to Jen, or whoever has access to her Instagram, the love between the Shahs is stronger than ever. The justice system can’t keep them down!
A Valentine’s Day message from within the pen

Jen and Sharrieff have been married since 1994, so you know they have had some extravagant Valentine’s Day celebrations over the years. However, the holiday hasn’t been the same since Jen got sentenced to over six years in prison for fraud. Last week marked the third Valentine’s Day that Jen has spent behind bars, but this year, she managed to make a public display of affection.
“Happy Valentine’s Day and happiest birthday to my amazing husband,” Jen wrote on Instagram.
“Even from miles away, my love and gratitude for you are stronger than ever,” she continued. “Thank you for sticking by my side and never letting go of my hand. I Love you, Jen.”
The sweet message is just the latest example of the couple showing a united front while Jen serves her sentence. Last year, they came together to shoot down rumors that Coach Shah tried to kiss Monica Garcia. The supposed Good Time Girl, Heather Gay, wrote all about it in her book, but the couple issued a joint statement denying all of it.
Before that, Coach Shah had been laying low and staying out of the spotlight. He turned down an offer to appear on RHOSLC Season 4, and we assume he’s eagerly awaiting his wife’s return. If all goes well, he’ll only have to spend two more Valentine’s Days without her. Her release date was recently pushed up to December 19, 2027.
