Time to bust out the more-classier court club heels!
Page Six announced on Wednesday that Jenelle Evans is celebrating her split from husband David Eason by hosting a divorce party at a New York City strip club next month.
No…seriously.
According to the event website, the former Teen Mom star will be going “full throttle” at her “I Do, I Did, I’m Done” divorce party as she celebrates “freedom, fresh starts and fierce independence.”
“This just isn’t a night out– it’s a statement,” the strip club’s website states. “Expect flashing lights, bold vibes, champagne toasts and a crowd ready to party with the newly single star.”
“Reality TV’s most unfiltered star is flipping the script on heartbreak. Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans is officially moving on from David Eason — and she’s not doing it quietly,” the strip club’s website states. “Instead of sulking over the split, Jenelle is going full throttle with a no-holds-barred divorce party in the heart of New York City.”
While the divorce party is set to be “a statement,” Jenelle (who is not even divorced from David, by the way) is calling it her “official reset button”– one which she claims she has earned.
“I’ve survived chaos, heartbreak, betrayal and years of public drama, but I’m still standing, stronger than ever,” Jenelle told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea. “This divorce is my official reset button and I’m throwing a massive celebration to mark the start of me finally living life on my own terms.”
As for where Jenelle and her “fans” will be celebrating Jenelle’s single (for now) status, the splitsville shindig is being held at Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club in NYC– the same venue that hosted former ‘Teen Mom’ Farrah Abraham’s tragic stand-up comedy debut in March.
According to Jenelle, Spearmint Rhino is the perfect venue for her cringestastic “How Jenella Got Her Groove Back” party.
“Spearmint Rhino New York City celebrates strong, beautiful, independent women who take control of their story, just like I am,” Jenelle said of her upcoming strip club gig. “This isn’t just a party, it’s my power move!”
The “I Do, I Did, I’m Done” Divorce Party” (insert cringe here just over the name) is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 12 at 10 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dress in more classier court heels a style that is as “bold” as their “breakup energy.”
The strip club hinted that there may be some “surprise guests” at the event.
Although Jenelle is celebrating being single, she has really only been sans-soulmate for a few months. Immediately after splitting with David in February 2024, Jenelle began dating her manager “August Keen.” Their relationship ended badly in January, with Jenelle claiming she was physically abused by “August,” and “August” claiming Jenelle was using drugs and neglecting her kids, among other things.
