Jenelle Evans is icing her mother, Barbara Evans out – once again.
Fans aren’t surprised at her recent statement that friends are closer to family.
For long time fans of Teen Mom, it’s no surprise that Jenelle Evans is not currently on speaking terms with her mother Barbara Evans.
The two have been at odds off and on since their first appearance on 16 and Pregnant, and while things seemed to improve at times in recent years, they’ve taken another downward spiral.
The former Teen Mom star opened up about her current feud with her mother on social media.
Jenelle took to TikTok live to fill fans in.
She explained to fans that she is “not talking” to her mother “again,” and that this time she won’t be trying to “fix things with her.”

She told fans that there’s more to the story than meets the eye.
“You guys don’t even know what just– you don’t know what’s been going on,” Jenelle said on TikTok, via The Ashley Reality Roundup.
“You wouldn’t be saying that if you knew what was going on, but I’m not gonna spread all that business.”
She took to Instagram to air some tension in her family.
As The Ashley reports, Jenelle posted a conversation she had with Barbara that hinted about tensions between her, her mother, and her sister Ashleigh Evans Wilson.
“Now I’m spiraling out of control according to Ashleigh and I’m literally on vacation with my kids…I don’t understand wtf her problem is,” reads a text that Jenelle sent to her mother in the screenshot she posted to Instagram.
“Now it’s another article. This is why I don’t talk to any of you.”
To no surprise, Jenelle is also not on speaking terms with her ex David Eason.
She recently explained why David no longer sees his daughter Ensley.
“David is supposed to take a psychological evaluation before he can visit with her in person but has not done so,” Jenelle recently confirmed to Celebuzz.
Jenelle noted, “He’s had over a year to complete what he needs to for his visits but hasn’t.”
According to The U.S. Sun, Jenelle claimed that David’s alcohol consumption was a major problem during their marriage, saying it made her life "intolerable."
She also called out his spending habits, saying he spent money that could have supported the "financial well-being of the minor children,” The Sun reports.
