Of course, there are a lot of big egos on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. That’s just one of the many problems with the show right now. What we didn’t know is that Jenn Fessler’s ego is just as sensitive as the rest of her RHONJ castmates.

You’d never know it by how pragmatic she acts on the show, but she opened up about her sensitive ego and job insecurity during an episode of Two Jersey Js, which she hosts with Jackie Goldschneider. With both of their jobs up in the air, the two ladies got candid about what life could look like after reality TV.
Jenn’s RHONJ job and ego are on the line
Although Jenn was the first person to run away from the explosive RHONJ Season 14 finale, she still has her fingers crossed for a Season 15 return. It’s not because she doesn’t have a life outside of the show. She just really wants to be a part of it.
“The truth is, like when I found out I was going to be a ‘friend of’ instead of a full-time Housewife, my ego was just so bent out of shape,” Jenn confessed.
She continued, “So if I picture a scenario where I get told ‘Listen, Jenn, we’re going on without you, you know, thank you for coming, and you know, see you never,’ that, I think that my ego would be very bruised.”
For now, there’s still a lot of uncertainty about what will happen for Season 15. It could be a full reboot. They might keep a few cast members to anchor a new era. Even Andy Cohen isn’t sure about what the future holds. However, Jenn admitted that her feelings could vary depending on what the network decides.
Jenn explained, “I think it’ll be an ego problem for me. That’s the biggest thing. And I think I can overcome that. Though, like, it’ll be a while of ‘How dare you?’ And ‘Was I not good enough?’ Or you know, ‘Why me?’”
She continued, “And depending on how it all pans out, then I think my life will move on and I’ll be hopefully you know, I’ll be Jenn Fessler. And I was happy before and fulfilled and I’ll be happy and fulfilled after.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is available to stream on Peacock.
