“Dancing with the Stars” alum Jenna Johnson looked gorgeous when she attended the 2025 Variety Power of Young Hollywood Event on Thursday, August 7. She shared photos on Instagram from the evening, which she attended with her husband, Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

The couple dressed up for the occasion with Johnson opting for a stunning black mini dress, which was the perfect combination of sophisticated and fashion-forward.

Johnson paired the look with strappy black sandals and wore her hair in a simple updo. She kept her makeup natural-looking and her jewelry to a minimum, letting the dress be the focal point of her look.

Chmerkovskiy opted for a slightly more casual finish with a denim two-piece vest and pants combination. He paired it with black shoes, which complemented Johnson’s dress.

The DWTS couple looks incredible on their night out, and fans flooded the comment section of Johnson’s post to share their thoughts. “You know glamorous,” a comment reads. “My favourite part of this – you can tell that you feel beautiful and sexy in this dress and that makes you even more radiant,” another person shared.

Other reactions include “Stunning!” and “My gorgeous queen.” The comment section is also filled with fire emojis to indicate Johnson’s hotness!

While at the 2025 Variety Power of Young Hollywood Event, the pair gave an interview to E! News about who they think will go far in Season 34.

“There’s something about positivity and energy, and his is contagious,” Johnson told E! News of contestant Robert Irwin. “It just is. And they’re such a great family. So I’m just excited to watch his journey. He is going to be an incredible personality on our show.”

Robert’s sister, Bindi Irwin, competed on Season 21 alongside professional dancer Derek Hough. They won the competition, taking home the Mirrorball Trophy! This is an achievement that many are hoping Robert can recreate.

“We’ve been such big fans of Robert Irwin since he was little, coming on set to watch Bindi perform,” Johnson added.

Robert may be a favorite contestant now, but three other competitors have also been announced for Season 34 (and many more to come). They are: social media influencer Alix Earle and “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” stars Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck.

As for what makes a fan favorite? This is a question that Chmerkovskiy was able to answer.

“I think it’s obvious when there’s a frontrunner pre-season, but there’s still so many elements,” he told E! News at the event. “I hate to mention it—injury, but also just the chemistry, the vibe, the growth, the partnership. There’s so many things, so many variables that have to blossom.”
